Adventures in the Caribbean!

 

On May 1 through May 8 Jonathan and I went on a cruise to the western Caribbean! A very needed vacation! This was Jonathan's first cruise experience but surely not the last!

We went with another awesome couple Oscar and Valentina Trochez The vacation was super fun, full of romantic moments, crazy adventures, very relaxing and of course lots and lots of YUMMY food….what more can we really ask for! Our ship was Carnival Glory and we went to 4 different ports:

1. Cozumel

Here we opted for a more relaxing excursion in Playa Mia. We went snorkeling, jumped on water trampolines, water bicycling (not such a good idea), eat at a Mexican buffet and of course relaxed on the beachside with our pina colodas!

 

     2. Belize

Brada! (how Belizeans say brother)  After one hour drive through Belize we arrived to one of the countries’ rainforest. It was so huge and so beautiful! We went on zip lines through this massive rainforest. I was freaking out of course but it is a experience I will never forget! Jonathan was very bare (or at least appeared to be).  He just jumped off and zipped! It really felt like we were flying through nature!

3. Roatan

WOW! This island is really a masterpiece of our Heavenly Father. It was absolutely  beautiful! Breathtaking! We ended going to this secluded area with sky blue clear water and white powder for sand!  This experience was probably our favorite. We were lucky enough to go scuba diving! It was so scary  to scuba diving 30 feet under the water!!!! The boys were naturals they just dove and were one with the water LOL. The girls we were concentrating on not drowning! j/k hehehe. Scuba diving is one of those things you have to do! (bucket list: CHECK)  There is absolutely no noise, there is colorful fish and coral and everything looks so blue! its just amazing.

 

4. Grand Cayman

This island is a British own island. So it was very expensive! They have a seven mile beach and have a great history. We actually went on a tour of the island and had a beach break.  It was great we ate an restaurant on the beach and were basically beach bums.

This vacation was full of experience I will never forget! The best part was we were able to share it together. We strengthen our friendship with our friends and each other. We just had such a blast! I feel very blessed and grateful for the experience we can have together! I love our life ♥
