“Together is our favorite place to be”
We had a great day at St. Petersburg! It was a little bit of a hassle to get out! We always try to have family time but somehow something always happens…hehehe. This time it was figuring out of where to go! We wanted a beach getaway but we didn’t want to go to Cocoa Beach. (Not the best beach) Finally we decided St.Petersburg! Yay! When we get there we can’t find parking… it was really a mission impossible LOL.
The beach was super nice and the water was perfect. We had our sandwiches and hard-boil eggs with pink sauce. Played in sand and with the seabirds.LOL
After the beach we decided to do a little tourist walking. The city is so nice. It reminded me of Miami a little. I just love coastal cities. We visited the pier that has these cute shops filled with knickknacks. There was also pelicans all over the pier! They were super cool!
The main street by the marina had very posh restaurants and shops. There was this one modern art décor store that was filled with the coolest random pieces of art. The day was just so fun but I feel like we enjoyed the most because we were together like family <3 For sure we will visit this city again!
Kathy’s High School Graduation! What can I say…my little sister graduated, no more babies in the family! I remember when I graduated 5 YEARS AGO! geesh… I am getting old!
It was so nice seeing my sister accomplish one of her many goals. Its bittersweet because I so proud and happy for her but so sad she is growing up and moving away for college. Not only do we have to adjust for her to be gone but also my sister Kristin is also leaving to BYU-I. Jonathan and I hate talking about because we get teary . We have come up with a bucket list of events to do when they leave. I love my sister so much! Everyday I think that I am so blessed that my heavenly father gave me sister like them! I am going to miss having their closet near by to raid when I need something, or having random sleepover days or movie nights at my house. Jonathan says he is going to miss having someone play with his hair! LOL Seriously speaking though its going to be tough for us to adjust not having them 10 minutes away anymore.
However I know the choice they made is the best one and I support them going to BYU-I . They not only deserve the college experience, they deserve having it in a college that is gospel focused…….Plus they need to find a worthy hubby!
After graduation, we celebrated at our favorite sushi place SEITO SUSHI. Mmmmm….so yummy! We even (finally after like 100 tries) convince my mom to eat sushi. Mind you it was a sushi with shrimp tempura, avocado, cream cheese and mango. So no raw food but nonetheless it was sushi and she loved it!!!
Yay for vaycays, sisters, and BYU! LOL
