White Christmas

It had been snowing all the time we were in Utah. On Christmas eve it also snowed. Even though I enjoyed seeing the snow and the town covered in snow, I did miss my sun! 

For Christmas this year we spent it with the Hoffmann family side. They rented a BIG 3 floor cabin in Sundance for all the family to be together.  The Hoffmann side is pretty big so they needed a spacious cabin. I have been to Sundance many times before and had seen some of the cabins, however this cabin was like in the private residential up in the mountain part. Basically we needed a 4x4 vehicle to go up there because a regular vehicle was not safe. It was the scariest ride up! Even though my father-in-law is a good driver I thought we were going to go off a cliff or worse an avalanche was going to trap us! 

We we finally arrive I was beyond relieved. All the family decided to buy PJs and spend most of our night in them. My father-in-law bought all of our PJs as a gift for us. Since we were going to celebrate in PJs we decided to take some pictures with our nice clothes on.

 We had catered dinner, then we had a family home evening about the real meaning of Christmas followed a special family slideshow! It was so cute! There was a special slideshow of los Abuelos since it was their 50th anniversary! It was so fun seeing old and new memories of the Hoffmann family!

Later in the evening we did our secret santa between the cousins  (19 but 3 couldn't make it) . We exchanged the rest of the gifts. It was a very special and different Christmas for us. Utah was literally covered in snow! It was truly a white Christmas this year!
