25 years "young"

I turned 25 this year. I am halfway to 50! eeekk Still have so much to accomplish but I can't complain how my life as been thus far! However like every birthday there is always time to think and analyze my life. One thing I realized this year was the older I get the more I understand what true happiness is. My birthday list keeps getting shorter and shorter every year. I just want to spend time with my loved ones is really the best gift I can ask for!

So this year my besties, Damaris & Daylin (and the hubs) came to visit me 1 week early for my birthday. We were able to do a temple session together. It was Daylin's first time in the Orlando temple, so that was exciting!

We had a late lunch at the famous yummy 4rivers. Then we decided to go for a late dinner to The Melting pot! (its all about the fun places to go eat!! lol) We had so much funny, catching up and laughing. Its always so nice to know no matter the distance and how apart can get, when we come together its like we were never were.

The following weekend for my Birthday, I was lucky enough to spend it with Jonathan and my parents. We had breakfast at our favorite place Keke's breakfast cafe, watched a movie and had my birthday dinner at Jiko! I was so exciting to eat there!!!! The best part was treating my parents too! I love to spoil them :)

Jiko is an African restaurant in the Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. We went a little early to see the animals on the "reserve" and I got to see one of my fav animals the giraffe! So tall, long and elegant animal! Such a true beauty! Jiko had exquisite food and for all types of palettes. From typical African to more common dish.  The service was also so wonderful but what can you except from a Disney's restaurant. Now from all the great things from dinner my favorite thing was the dessert. It is the BEST DESSERT I have ever had. For the first time ever it hurt sharing it!!! lol It was the perfect combination of white chocolate, cheesecake, ice cream and graham cracker. It was just to die for!

I really enjoyed my birthday this year! I missed my sisters but officially this would be the last one I have without Kristin! (since she graduates in Dec) still will miss Kathy! But I will take what I can get!
