Happy Easter!!!
Jonathan was feeling nostalgia and really wanted to have some type of Easter celebration.
So of course I did not think twice and started planning lol
We invited my family for lunch. I made this delicious ( not to toot my own horn..toot toot hahaha) broccoli salad which I am super excited about because it was a complete success! I arranged my living room so I can fit a table for the 8 of us. I really wanted to do a cute table setting. So I decorated the table with cute Easter decorations and made little cute napkin holders.
I also set up a dessert Easter table.
First activity was having lunch, then paint EASTER EGGS!!!
Since the Heat were playing Jonathan was in his “Basketball mode” hence the basketball Easter eggs. (they lost by the way :( …..but we will bet them game 5, no worries)
Then finally the games! YAY!
We played an egg cracking game that Jonathan used to play with his family and then eat the hard boiled eggs with pink sauce…yummy
We had an egg hunt in our apartment down stair courtyard! It was so much fun!
We also played APPLES TO APPLES and my dad (first time player) won all of us veterans!!! LOL who would have known my dad can be so good at apples to apples.
All in all I would say it was a quite a successful Easter. We had a spiritual morning at Church and then had a great family bonding afternoon. I am so blessed to have such a great family. Jonathan and I can’t wait to repeat this Easter and make it our tradition for our family! :)
