Update on the Hoffmann’s

We just finished watching Game 3 for NBA finals. We are going for the Miami Heat!!! We are super excited for the finals and really hope the Heat take it!

Anyways, I wanted to do a post a little bit of an update of our life for far away family and friends.

Jonathan currently is working on getting his Paralegal studies degree then planning to get a bachelors and finally to law school. He is on a summer break now so he is really enjoy no school! He is also the young men secretary and he loves it. He gets along well with the young men (expect when they rank on the heat).

As for me, I am almost done with my bachelors degree! I will graduate this Fall! (such a relief to be able to say that). However school right now is the toughest it has been for me. I am so grateful Jonathan is helping so much with house chores. Now I can concentrate on my school work! I am such a lucky girl and  so blessed! My calling is gospel principle teacher for the young women and young men. I love my calling I learn so much!

Our doggie Louie is doing great, crazy like always! But he is so cute and we love our little pooch!

Our plans for the near future… well we have a planned trip to New York City with our best friends the Huici’s for labor day weekend and to celebrate Jonathan’s birthday. We are also “trying” to train for a half-marathon in January. I say trying because its hard to stick to a training schedule but we have fun running together and of course the bonus we loose weight and get in shape! We are also into couponing and have saved so much $$$. We have even been able to start a small stockpile of a couple of items that we have bought in larger quantities. Natural disasters are happening and we want to be prepared. So for next few months we have a goal to focus on food storage. Fortunately couponing has been useful in our goal and its fun! (Its such a great feeling to walk out of the store with 10 barbeque sauces for free!)

We are so exciting for this year! There are so much things happening for us. my graduations, trips, family reunions for Christmas, our cousin Christopher returns from his mission!! So much excitement in our future!
