School...

I have Grad ceremony in May finally. I haven't been in school since October
(when I technically graduated). Seems a little silly to "walk" after 7
months of graduating but my family really wants me to have the whole cap and gown experience and I don't want to regret it later. Jonathan finally
has 1 year of school under his belt! It’s been a long journey for him. I am
very proud of him because he was not able to go school for a long time but
never gave up his desire to go. He works a 40 hour job and part timed
student, YM counselor and for those of you who know Jonathan he is also
very helpful with chores around the house. We made a pact that my last year
in college I was going to become a full time student with a full time job
but he needed to help with house chores. Then when I graduated he would
not help in chores anymore, so he could concentrate on school. BUT Jonathan
is a neat freak and is always try to clean something even after I clean
things At first it was a little annoying but then I realized it made him
relax and feel like he accomplished something, completely. Like if the
kitchen is dirty he can clean all be done. Not like other things in life
that takes so long to accomplish. So when there are many chores to do in the
house and he want to help I always ask him to choose what chore he wants to
do. Then I do the rest. I do still feel bad sometimes but I just remind
I he LIKES it and how lucky I am he does.

Church...

Yw camp is coming! I thought that for a very long time I was not going back. But as a leader I have to support my young women. This year however, I must admit is such a cool theme. It based on Dr. Seuss "oh the place you will go one of my all time favorites! Each ward also had to choose a Dr. Seuss book. Of course our young women choose How the Grinch Stole Christmas. They all wan to dress up like whoville people again. The YW camp madness has begun! We are having our first fundraiser in March. We are also making baby dresses out of pillow cases to send to little girls in Africa (part of yw stake camp activity). For Jonathan this year they are having a multi stake YM camp. Supposedly it’s going to be one of the best camps ever. Its going to be focused on Moroni and how to be stripling warriors. They are going to
do all sort of activities! Jonathan is really excited. We are both so busy with our callings!

Family...

Recently we had a lovely visit from Jonathan's Dad and wife and grandparents Hoffmann. They stayed in our house which was fun. I made a weekend meal plan so I would be ready to cook for them but what I did not know is that the grandparents wanted to cook for us! With my tiny kitchen we were all able to manage and cook meals for 6! It was nice having breakfast and lunch together. Rudy invited us to eat at Ceviche. Which is a Spaniard restaurant that serves Tapas and paellas. They also had flamenco perfomers. We sit in the "candle room" super fancy VIP looking room. The walls were full of candles, hence the name. It was a very European romantic ambiance. The next day we went to EPCOT which was another adventure in itself! We even eat at a little bakery in France! Chris came visit us for the weekend, too. Jonathan and Chris had much needed bro time! We love having family over especially ones we don't see as often.

Work...

For the first time in like 4 years Jonathan and I do not work together. I got promoted in Oct but we still worked in the same building. But my department moved in into a newer building. We are still getting used to not seeing each other at breaks or texting to meet by the hallway...LOL...Now Me understand when couples miss their significant other after work :(. Jonathan's department is growing a lot which is great because more opportunity for him to grow as well! My department is also expanding butour main focus right now is: cross our fingers: passing the HB 119. This
bill can have a big impact on PIP in FL.
