Disney Cruise Day 4

Castaway Cay

The long awaited day finally came! We have never been to Disney's private island. For a far you can see all the fun that awaits! There was a floating jungle gym looking thing with water slides. There are all type of rentals for water fun. Jonathan, my dad and I went snorkeling. It was my dad's first time so we went slowly into deep waters. We had heard there was a hidden underwater Mickey statue. We swam and looked at all the coral and fish until (1 mile out in the water) we saw the Mickey!!! The ecosystem that Disney made was pretty and nice to see but knowing we made it to the Mickey was very fulfilling.

The island provided free barbecue that was delicious. They also had little activities like hermit crab races and sting ray interaction. After a while on the "fun" side we decide to take a tram to Serenity bay which is a beach for adults only. We were so surprise of how peaceful and beautiful it was. The water was clear, white sand and the water were very calm. It was perfect to relaxing and have some pina colada on the beach!

When we went back to the ship there was a Farewell Party with all the characters. So magical and memorable!
