Kristin's picture perfect 23!

2 days later on Aug 7th was Kristin's 23 birthday! Didn't have so much time to prepare for her setup. But luckily I had already started to think of ideas for her theme.

When we first moved into our apartment I didn't like that the dining room was separate from the living room. I felt it made the house look smaller. However Jonathan loved the dinning room having its own little squared area. Who would have thought the little square area I was not fond of turned out to be so perfect for my celebration setups. That little squared area is now iconic in our family memories.

So for Kris's birthday I decide to do a photo/picture themed celebration. Anyone who knows my sister knows she is a picture fanatic! She is obsessed with taking pictures, looking at pictures, posing for pictures etc. She just loves the whole ordeal. So I knew she was going to love this theme. A while back I had seen an idea on pinterest to use pictures to make a number as part of the decorations for a birthday. So I knew I had to use it. That basically was the big decoration but I felt like something was missing. Then I thought about making our own photo booth!!! That became the highlight of the birthday. We had soo much fun. Everyone was really into it! It was such a nice experience to share with my family. And we have the crazy pictures for memories! Lol

Kris is now 23! Even though we are only 1 year apart, I have always felt this urgency to take care of my sister and always push her to succeed. Kris is such an amazing women! I know this year has been full of emotions for her good and bad but I know it's all for her own growth. I am so happy that she is so dedicated to her family as well as school, church and her job. She always tries her best in everything. So I know soon enough she will have everything she longs for. Let's see what her 23rd year life has in store for her! At least I know I am excited for that! :)
