A visit from Utah

My mother in law lives in Utah. Which means we don't see her as often as we want. For the last couple of years we have always visited her in Utah. However this year she wanted to vist us in the summer. To be honest it was a little nerve recking. She was going to visit our home, she was going to meet Louie for the first time and also learn a little about our life here in Orlando.

Unforunately Jonathan lost his job like a month before Lilian came to visit so there were somethings we were not able to do but overall I felt like we enjoyed each others company so much!

So Stephy, Lilian and Jonathan all enjoyed the Hollywood Studios! (I had to work). They had so much fun together. However, we were all to go to the beach which was super amazing especially since Lilian hasn't been at a beach in years!!! ( I personally couldn't go years without a beach)

Since we started doing more water activities than anticipated Lilian needed to buy another swimsuit so we went together to buy some. It was a nice going shopping one on one with her. (something I never get to do) As a mother in law she is great!!! nothing like the stereotypical 'monster in laws' from the movies. Lol

We also enjoyed time at both Disney's waterparks. We had a blast with all the rides and wave pools. My favorite part of our outings was seeing how Jonathan was so excited to be with his mom and sister. He loves them so much and he gets sooo happy around them. Katherine was missing but we always kept her alive in conversation and thoughts, it was like she was there in spirit! (We still really missed her) I kneo sometime it's hard for Jonathan to have his family so far away. So we really cherished this moments with them.

One of our goals for this visit was, we wanted to take them to eat the yummy food her in Orlando. We took them to Colombian burgers which is our favorite burger place! But everyone's favorite had to be Q'kenan which is Venezuelan cuisine! Soo delicious.

It was nice to spend time with them. We were able to open our home to them and share a little of our life here. It was nice for Lilian to see how our home is (she really liked our apartment and decor) and our ward and friends. Plus she loved Louie and Louie loved her!!!
