Jonathan is halfway to 50!

Birthdays in my family are very important. I personally always try to do something for my family on their special day. Jonathan turned 25 on September 1. So naturally I started to plan something special for him. This year was different however because  we actually planned a trip to New York ( I will do a blog about that trip too) the day after (Sept 2). So it was a crazy week with preparations for the trip and trying to plan something for my hubby. Since we work together I also wanted to do something at work. I bought him a cake and decorated his desk.

 

Now I had no idea what theme to do for this years birthday. Then it came to me “ I love NY” theme! A quick trip to party city and with my silhouette sd and made a little something to make him feel special. I thought the theme would be perfect since we were taking a trip there the next day to celebrate his birthday! I also knew if I was having NY themed birthday I needed to have NY style pizza.Plus its Jonathan’s favorite pizza! I just wanted him to have a memorable little something.

 

Its crazy that Jonathan turned 25! Can you believe I meet him when he was 16! We started dating 8 years ago! But it doesn’t seem like it has been that long. I still remember writing in my diary how cute he was and how we was so perfect for me. LOL. Now he is my eternal love. In my diary I also found a list of the “things” I wanted my husband to have. These are the things I wrote:

1.Have the priesthood.- I am so blessed to have the priesthood in my home and all the blessing that come with it.

2. Romantic- I hit the jackpot with that! Jonathan is super romantic…The other day he made me owl cookies with a cookie cutter he secretly bought to surprise me. He always has the most romantic things to say!  I love it!

3.Funny- If you know Jonathan you know he is hilarious! He is not embarrassed of making fun of himself. He is just a burst of funny!

4.Ambitious- I love that he is always trying to be better and has so many plans for our future.

5.Cuddly- I guess I meant like a person who is affectionate? Jonathan is very affectionate and he just always knows when I need a hug, caress or kiss.

6. Light eyes- Well Jonathan does not have light eye but I would not change his big chestnut brown eyes for anything ;)

7.Hygienic/Dress nice- Well Jonathan failed in this part….JK Jonathan is very clean and hygienic ( he takes longer showers than me lol)  plus he always dresses nice and looks the part .

8. Be my best friend- Accomplished ! Jonathan is my best friend!

I am so lucky to have him in my life and I am grateful that he works so hard to make me happy. He is and will always be the love of my life!
