We started receiving christmas cards from friends and family. With one of the Christmas cards we also received exciting news...my cousin Juan is having his first baby! It so exciting :)

We also went to Island of Adventure with the family. My parents had not been there since forever. And my sister had not gone since Harry Potter opened. It was such a great family outing! We went to all the attractions! It was so much fun seeing my mom take pictures of everything and be amazed about things in the theme park. Jonathan and I have annual passes so sometimes the park seems so nonchalant. This time however was different because my family's excitment was contagious. We also saw Grinchmas, which is the 'How the Grinch stole Christmas' play. I loved it! I have always been a Grinch fan but I had not watched the movie in a long while. Seeing the play made me realize how much I love that story. My whole family loved the play. It was a perfect ending to our family outing.
The next day we invited my family to watch the Christmas devotional in our house. They came a little early and I made dinner for them while they ended up watching Planet Earth...the cave segment. Weirdest creatures live in caves!!! It was fun to see my whole family spending time together. (those are the moments I live for)We watch the devtional which had great messages and reminders of what's really important on Christmas.
