Christmas

This year we spent Christmas in Miami. All my family gathered in my cousin Suany's house. For us it was different, it was actually the first time we spent Christmas there.

She had her whole backyard prepared for the celebration. The patio was the dancing area. There where tents with tables for people to eat. There was also chairs outside the tents for those who preferred to be under the stars. My cousin is married to a Cuban, so she is practically Cuban. In tradition to the Cuban culture she had an area for Domino and the "caja china" for the pig. The caja china is like sometype of cooking made oven to roast a whole pig.

This christmas was also a little different we had family visiting from Honduras.

After our dinner we went to my other Cousin's house to have the gift exchange. Our family traditions is to open presents at Midnights. All my little cousin during the whole night keep "tracking" santa online to see where we was!!! When we got to Claudia's house (my cousin) the reindeer food was all gone! and there were all these presents under the tree that Santa left.

We loved seeing our little cousins' faces and excitment.I also love giving gifts. I love the expression my loved ones have when they open their gifts! This year I gave my immediate family a "suprise" gift each. There expression was soo worth it!

We just LOVE spending Christmas with FAMILY!!!!
