2011 Round up

Wow! I can't believe another year as passed! Every year brings new and exciting things. This year in specific for us and our families has been a year of accomplishments!

My little sister Kathy graduated from high school, Kristin got her A.S degree and I got my bachelor's degree. I also became a Med/PIP adjuster for Farmers Insurance and had a chance to go to California for training. Krisitn became HR assistant at Ralph Lauren and Kathy got her first job in Ralph Lauren. Jonathan finished his first year of the paralegal program and got a raise at work for his performance!

This year was also a year full of changes!

I received a new calling as the 1st Counselor in the YW and Jonathan was called as secretary of YM then 2nd counselor of YM. We both had new work schedules. My sister got accepted BYU-I. Now they are studying in IDAHO!Jonathan's cousin returned from his mission. Both of Jonathan's grandmothers moved to Utah! Now they are closer to us ;).

We also went through difficult times and had many learning experience which brought us closer to the Lord and strengthen our relationship. We even almost moved back to Miami!

2011 was also FUN!
We traveled to Utah for The Dawson Wedding! We went to New York and this year was Jonathan's first time in a cruise! I went to California for the first time. For my birthday I got my silhouette SD which helps satisfy my creative itch! With our families we had fun experiences one of my favorites was St. Petersburg weekend and going to Fisher Island on Addicted.(Jonathan's Uncle yacht)

As conclusion of the year I invited my family for a special dinner at my apartment. I arranged the furniture to fit a table to of eight. It was the first time I made pollo asado (cuban style). The reviews for my chicken were great but I hard time handling a whole chicken. They look too alive for me :(

We had a great dinner and then went to a members house for the countdown! After midnight they released sky lanterns! It was so beautiful. It was a very emotional New Years since my sister would be leaving later that day to Idaho for 6 months. But at the same time we are all so happy for them!

Overall this year was an amazing year! We grew as individuals. We grew as a team and family!
We were reminded how blessed we are to have such great family and friends. 2011 was full of experiences and blessings for the Hoffmanns.
