To sum up July events basically I would say "beach, sun and callings". For the fourth of July we decide to go to the beach. However living in Orlando there isn't much nice beaches to choose from. We have Cocoa beach which i don't really like personally. It's always super crowded and the sand is dark therefore the water is dark too. It's really the closest beach to Orlando so full of tourist :(. We also have Daytona beach which is nice but still not my cup of tea. So for July 4th we opted for a new beach, New Smyrna. To our suprise it was very nice. There are two sides to the beach one side is traffic free and the other side you can park your car on the sand. In the afternoons the tide gradually gets lower which is nice to see.

Surely when my sisters came from Idaho we went to New Smyrna, the "locals" beach. It's my favorite beach around Orlando.

We basically went all the time...,so every chance we had to go to the beach we where there! Plus, July has perfect weather for the beach.

Besides the new cool beach and our oh so fun beach days something super special happened. We both received new callings. Though I was so sad to leave my young women I was exciting for this new calling. I was called as Primary President. At first I was so scared but then I realized I couldnt have asked for a more rewarding calling. I love the children and the spirit they bring.

As for Jonathan he was called to be a ward clerk. A very time consuming calling but Jonathan loves all that he is learning. I am so happy for him! He will grow and learn so much in this new calling. I can see it already. As a couple we are so excited to have such great callings in our ward. We love to serve the lord and we know all the blessings we can receive if we continue to serve him.
