Kathy's Fab 19

The month of August was full of birthdays, family time and a whole lot of fun! Like every year I take birthdays to a different level. Lol I like to celebrate my loved ones birthday with a nice little set up. Usually it has a theme oriented. This year I decide to celebrate my sisters birthday separate. Since their birthday is only 1 day apart they usually have it together.

So first was Kathy birthday on Auguust 5th. But before I get into that, this year was also special because Lilian (my mother in law) and Stephanie (my sister in law) where visiting!!! It was nice for them to see my home and join us for these family celebrations. Ok back to August 5th. I like for the theme to represent something the birthday person likes, or associate with them or on some occasion a happy event for them. For Kathy I decided to do a pink and black Audrey Hepburn theme. It was decorated with lace and pearls of course. There was also one of Kathy's favorite Audrey Hepburn quotes that's hung on one of my walls. There even a paper chandelier for an extra touch.


I can't believe my little little sister is now 19!!! I am so happy she has grown to such a fabulous and special women. She has learn so much this last year since she went to away for college and started her first job. I am so proud of her triumphs. The best part of my little little sisters is that even though we are 5 years apart and live half the year away we still have a great sister/bestfriend relationship. I am always there for her and she is always there for me, no matter the distance.

Because i love her so much I always try to make her birthday so special! Even though I am very busy with work, house chores and my calling I don't mind doing an all nighter to have all the things ready to make her day that much more special.
